The Drama Workshop is thrilled to present HOME BREW THEATER, an event featuring six new plays and locally brewed beer June 9-11.
The Drama Workshop is proud to present “Home Brew Theater (part 2)”. For one weekend only, TDW will be presenting six short plays, by six local authors. The performances will be followed by a reception sponsored by Christian Moerlein Lagers & Ales.
“Always…Patsy Cline” is based on the true story of Patsy Cline’s friendship with Houston housewife Louise Seger. In 1961 when Cline went to Houston for a show, Seger and her buddies arrived about an hour-and-a-half early and, by coincidence, met Cline who was traveling alone.
Subscriptions for The Drama Workshop’s 2017-2018 season are on sale now, at only $70 for the exciting five-show season. Next season brings a mix of exciting drama, toe-tapping music, and side-splitting comedies to the intimate 96-seat theater in the heart of Cheviot.
The Drama Workshop’s production of Neil Simon’s timeless comedy, “The Odd Couple” is playing February 24 through March 12 at its theater in Cheviot at 3716 Glenmore Ave.
Divorced, broke, and sloppy sportswriter Oscar Madison is doing all right – having split from his wife six months ago, he has nobody to answer to. He also has nobody to clean up after him, and his Manhattan apartment shows it, to the dismay of his poker buddies who come over every Friday night.
The Drama Workshop’s production of Dan Goggin’s “Nuncrackers” is bringing a holiday treat to its theater in Cheviot at 3716 Glenmore Ave. Showtimes are 8 pm on Friday and Saturday evenings, and at 2 pm on Sunday afternoons through December 18.
The hilarious sequel to TDW’s 2014 production of “Nunsense” features The Little Sisters of Hoboken’s first TV special taped in the Cable Access Studio built by Reverend Mother in the convent basement.
