The TDW Board of Directors has announced the three shows that will represent the upcoming 2003-2004 season. TDW is also proud to announce that this season will be the 50th anniversary season of The Drama Workshop
Dates have yet to be selected, but this is the order of the shows to be presented starting in the fall of 2003:
Mornings at Seven
This charming family comedy/drama by Paul Osborn is a reprise selection that was originally produced by TDW in 1983. TDW’s audiences voted this past year help make this selection. The story follows the family relationship of four sisters who have always lived in walking distance of each other. Their lives are stirred up by the arrival of a stranger – a younger woman who has intentions on marrying a reluctant son.
Inspecting Carol
What better way to start of the traditions of the holiday season than a performance of A Christmas Carol? Well that is the good intentions of a small theater group, whose annual presentation of the Dickens classic goes horribly wrong to hilarious results. This uproarious comedy by Daniel Sullivan and the Seattle Repertory Theatre will be sure to jingle your funny bones.
Belles
A Mother’s slight illness starts a chain reaction of phone calls amongst a group of sisters that are spread throughout the country in this comedy/drama by Mark Dunn. The fractured relationships of these sisters are traced over the course of 45 separate phone calls.
TDW is also accepting applications from anyone interested in directing one of these shows. Please contact us for more information
