2013 Glenmore Playhouse First Annual CHILI BOWL I Hosted by The Drama Workshop
Terms and Conditions
- All contestants must be 18 years of age or older
- A completed entry form and fee of $20 per entry must be received before being considered a contestant
- Contestants will be chosen on a first come basis, until all contestant spots are filled
- A confirmation email and detailed instructions for day of the event will be sent to contestant
- Once confirmed as a contestant, entry fee is non refundable
- The Drama Workshop (TDW) will supply space, electric, crackers, sample cups, spoons, and ballots
- Contestant will supply condiments (hot sauce, cheese, onions, etc)
- Contestant will prepare chili at home and transport to The Glenmore Playhouse
- Contestant will have approximately 2.5 ft of table space
- Chili must be contestant’s own creation
- Contest will be on Saturday, February 23 from 12 noon to 3pm
- Doors will open for contestants at 11:00am
- Contestant needs to be set up no later than 11:45
- Doors open at 12 noon for public voting
- Prizes will be awarded to the winner of each category
- Prize will be awarded to one overall winner
- Public vote will determine the winner of each category
- ‘Special Judges’ will determine the overall winner
- TDW will choose the special judges and they will be announced at the contest
- Public voting will end at approximately 2:30pm and the winner announced shortly after
- Overall winner will be announced after category winners
- Clean up will end at 4:00pm
- Contestant is responsible for all personal items brought into The Glenmore Playhouse
- The Glenmore Playhouse and TDW are not responsible for damaged, lost, or stolen items.
